Summary: Jack makes a decision and acts upon it for the good of him and Daniel, the man he loves, and whom loves him right back

"Sam, I don't wanna mess things up between us, y'know, as friends..." Jack began, "But it isn't working, is it?"

"No." Sam answered plainly. "It isn't."

"I'm gonna go now then..." Jack looked at the door behind him.

Sam wiped a tear from her eye, and stepped forward to touch Jack's arm, in a gesture of goodbye. "Good luck..." She whispered, and stepped back.

Jack walked out of the door.

"Daniel, I'm not interrupting anything, am I?" Jack asked, as he stood on Daniel's doorstep.

"No." Daniel answered honestly, unsure where this was leading.

In the space of that one word, Jack couldn't help himself, he moved forward, and found his lips met with Daniel's.

Daniel felt Jack up close, so close... "Jack..." He murmured through the kiss.

"Yeah..?" Jack replied.

"Not that I'm complaining, but why are you doing this..?" In that moment, Daniel felt Jack's hand on his back, and he moved his to be on Jack's, pulling him closer.

"Because I'm crazy for you... You're my angel... At least, you were." Jack spoke of when Daniel has Ascended. "If you can help it, don't ever do that again, please..."

"Where have you got all this freedom of speech from? It's not like you to be like that too often!" Daniel said, as Jack's arms hotly held him.

"I'll get some CDs from the car later, and you can hear the words that make me think of you..." Jack told Daniel.

Daniel panicked, thinking of Jack heading to the car, and not coming back. "I don't want to let you go, but I'm going to have to, aren't I?" Daniel asked pointedly.

"Sam and I are over. I didn't want to live the lie anymore, cliché as that sounds!" Jack stated genuinely.

In reply, Daniel kissed Jack. "What are we going to do before you go get the CDs?" He asked, in between touches of Jack's mouth and body.

"Make love..." Jack answered, kissing Daniel again... "If that's what you want..?"

"Of course I do!" Daniel smiled.

"Where are you, usually?" Jack pondered shyly.

"Either..." Daniel replied.

"I haven't been underneath in a long time..." Jack managed to say.

"What do you want?" Daniel asked.

"I know what I'm doing more so when I'm on top..." Jack stated, a tad embarrassed.

"That's absolutely fine by me..!" Daniel grinned, and kissed Jack yet again. "Whatever else we decide to do or not to do, in the future, this is fine by me..." He pulled Jack to him ever close, and they kissed again, beginning to get to what really mattered.

"Oh, God, Jack!!" Daniel breathed, sweat continually bathing him, and it wasn't all his. His body's reactions, and fluids, were mixing with Jack's.

Upstairs, they were closeted away together, but out to each other. "I'm glad you like it! Jack kissed behind Daniel's ear. "I love you..."

"More words I never thought I'd hear..." Daniel mused.

"I do." Jack assured him.

"I know. I love you, too!" Daniel yearned, pushing back, then pulling hard on Jack.

Jack put the CD player lid down in place... He turned back to Daniel, and took him in his arms as the music began to play... It was such a cliché!

"I didn't realise you liked pop classics!" Daniel smiled kindly, as he and Jack danced.

"You just can't escape some songs, or what they mean to you..." Jack answered, looking into Daniel's eyes. With that, the second song started playing...

"I'll try never to leave you again..." Daniel promised, as he and Jack held on to each other.

"That goes from me to you, too..." Jack began another kiss of his and Daniel's lips.
