Daniel smiled at the sight he saw... Jack, holding their son. It was adorable! Their son was dressed smartly, as was his father – and they were ready to join the party in the garden of the family's knew home – a log cabin, of course – Jack's favourite type of dwelling – But a larger, more permanent home, suitable and safe for their baby boy.

Daniel kissed his baby boy's forehead, and put a hand on Jack's shoulder. "Are you two ready to go out there, and meet everyone..?" He grinned at their child, wondering which if either of them, he would grow to look like. He was still so small, as babies of only a few months seemed to be even when they were totally healthy...

"Yeah-sure-you-betcha!" Jack grinned, gently bouncing his baby in his arms.

Daniel hooked his arm in Jack's arm, and the family walked out to meet their friends...

Janet and Sam turned and smiled, as their friends approached, walking into the daylight, the baby with his little sunhat on, held securely by one of his two very protective, very loving fathers, Jack.

Teal'c bowed his head in a nod, and allowed them to see his rare smile as they walked past, together.

As Jack and Daniel walked ahead, they saw another of their dearest friends, 'The General', as he would forever and affectionately be known.

They then looked at each other, and at their son, cuddling him as they walked together... And both Jack and Daniel knew, they were ready to be married, and it wasn't just for the sake of their lovely son... Jack and Daniel had been in love for so long – This was always meant to be.
