I just wrote this to get rid of a pet peeve that's been bugging me forever. I'm aware that if Shanks really did have bad eyes, they'd give him contacts and a set of non-correcting glasses, because you can't have that distortion on camera; it looks weird (unless you're filming Callum Keith Rennie, who seems to have an injury dispensation). Daniel does both close work and distance gazing with them on, which means he's probably nearly blind. Otherwise he'd take them off or leave them on for different things, like people with minor sight problems. His just never leave his face, which means his eyes must be *awful*. I know. Mine are awful. And glasses for awful eyes distort your face. Okay, all done now. Whew. Feeling better.

Summary: Has anyone else noticed that the glasses Daniel has to wear *all* the time, meaning his eyes must be pretty weak, don't distort his face at all?
