A/N 3: I was heavily influenced by the Middle English dream vision poems The Pearl by Anonymous and Piers Plowman by William Langland (Piers Plowman is also where I got my LJ name from *g*).
Summary: He liked it here, so different than the comfort of cold, dead Antarctica and so much more right. His chest swelled as he took a deep breath of air, feeling the life of the place fill him and surge through his body, a worthy balm to his soul.
